THE PROOF IS IN THE HOUSE! "INFINITE PROJECT"
Anlin Window Systems partnered with our glass supplier to demonstrate the remarkable reduction in energy usage with INFINITE glass. The INFINITE Project is a "real world" test and unequivocal proof that INFINITE glass is the top of its low-e class.

In September of 2000, two identical homes were purchased in Northern California, both equipped with "clear" double-pane glass and after a series of careful measurements to determine that both homes were identical, all of the glass in one home was replaced with INFINITE. The other home retained ordinary "clear" double-pane glass. As unoccupied homes, each was kept at matching heating and cooling temperatures without outside influences. From September 6 - 21, daytime temperatures were consistently over 100 degrees and skies were mostly clear. Although the two homes will be monitored for 1 year, the initial results were astounding! The average afternoon demand for air conditioning in the INFINITE home was 30% lower due to the reduced solar heat gain. This translates into lower energy bills as well as energy conservation. This kind of "real world" test is a major commitment in a continuing effort to provide California homeowners with the most efficient low-emissivity glass on the market.

KNOW YOUR LOW-E FACTS.
There are many "hard" and "soft" low-emissivity coating treatments on the market today, most of which use only one layer of metal oxide. This results in a much higher (inefficient) U-FACTOR and SHCG (solar heat gain coefficient) number. That's why Anlin Window Systems uses a patented, double silver layer metallic coating to deflect outside heat and block damaging UV rays. Anlin Window Systems products have the lowest (most efficient) U-FACTOR and SHGC numbers in the business.

WHAT IS INFINITE GLASS AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
INFINITE is a Spectrally Selective patented double silver layer low-e coating, which provides superior thermal performance. INFINITE glass significantly reduces unwanted summertime heat without a dark tint and insulates up to 100% better than ordinary glass. INFINITE glass also reflects interior heat in the wintertime back into rooms while keeping cooler temperatures outside. INFINITE'S unique reflective and insulating qualities are equally beneficial on the north and east sides of your home, where cold winds and shadows prevail, as on the south and west sides where the sun's heat is at its peak. Anlin Window Systems had the knowledge and vision to recognize that California would have an energy crisis several years ago. Further recognizing that glass is the major contributor to the inefficiency of a window, thus a new low-e technology was developed: a spectrally selective double silver layer coating, INFINITE

CALIFORNIA ENERGY CRISIS PROMPTS EMERGENCY LEGISLATION AND PROPOSED CHANGES TO EFFICIENCY STANDARDS.
The International Energy Conservation Code (I.E.C.C.) requires low solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) glazing in areas of the country requiring significant air conditioning.

The U.S. Department of Energy has recently determined that the 2000 version of the I.E.C.C. will lead to significant national energy savings, principally from air conditioning savings with low solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) glazing.

WHAT THIS MEANS AS A HOMEOWNER
Anlin Window Systems has engineered our vinyl windows with thermal performance as a top priority just like our INFINITE glass, creating the most energy efficient windows on the market today. The result is simple: lower energy bills, energy conservation and greater comfort. As a homeowner, you can rest assured Anlin Window Systems; the leader in replacement vinyl windows, has your best interest in mind. Remember, U-FACTOR and SHGC are the two measures of how thermally efficient a window is. Anlin Window Systems is confident that once you have the facts, there will be only one choice for your investment.
